"We don't offer you any solutions necessarily, but we definitely offer you a minute to escape." Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson, and Zack Merrick are four amazing guys that make up the band All Time Low. As they said in this quote, they can't solve any problems but they defiantly help people with their music in so many ways. This blog is a place to discuss lyrics, members, and what is new with the guys of all time low.

What Have The Boys Been Up to Lately?
The guys of All Time Low recently wrapped up their fall tour of "The Rise and Fall of my Pants" I attended this tour back in November at their Providence show and even though the band members were sick I was defiantly not disappointed. It was just as amazing as all of their live performances are and they were as energetic and crazy as usual.
As that tour finished up the band headed back to the UK with The Maine and We Are the In Crowd until February 4rth and yesterday played at Vancouver, apparently the guys had a great time as Alex tweeted: "show was fantastic tonight. Thank you for having us, VanCOOLver. See what I did? VanCOOLver. Cause you were cool."
I know the main thing all of us fans are wondering is when we can be expecting some new music from the guy. There isn't any official dates or plan yet, but on October 28, 2011 during an interview Alex Gaskarth said that they have started writing new songs while on the road and we should be expecting a release sooner than later. So for now we all have to just anxiously wait!

What is All Time Low Really Like?
If you ever watch any videos, interviews, or see All Time Low play live you will see that these guys are some of the funniest most lovable guys in the world. But what are they like not on stage? What are they like not in front of the camera? Exactly the same! My first time ever meeting them I was a nervous wreck, these guys had been my heroes for as long as I could remember. I got a chance to meet each member individually and I thought it would just be take a picture, sign an autograph, and on to the next fan. But it wasn't, each of them took the time and have a conversation with me. They were extremely down to earth, friendly, and genuinely nice guys. It was one of the best experiences of my life and has only made my love for this band and the members grow even more.

Newest Album: Dirty Work
All Time Low I Feel Like Dancin' of their album Dirty Work:
First of all "A Daydream Away." All Time Low is known for doing at least one acoustic song on each of their albums and this is one doesn't disappoint. It is definantlyone of the most romantic songs this band has done. The song starts off with the line:
"I wish you could see your face right now, cause your grinning like a fool.
And were sitting on your kitchen floor, on a tuesday afternoon.
Doesn't matter when we get back to doing what we do
Cause right now could last forever, just as long as i'm with you."
This song is just a very beautiful song about being in love and that feeling when you can't always be with that person. Which I think is something that everyone can relate to.
Another song that is one of my favorites is "Return the Favor" This is one of the more upbeat songs on the album. This song is all about putting a lot into a relationship and not getting the same back. This is also a song I feel a lot of people can relate to.
Lead Singer: Alexander William Gaskarth
Alex Gaskarth is my favorite musician of all time, lead singer and guitarist of the band he has made quite a name for himself at only the age of 24. He was born in 1987 in Essex, England but grew up in Baltimore. Alex enjoys not only writing music for the band but writing poetry and online blogs.
A lot of fans are drawn into Alex by his blue eyes and long hair, but for me it has always been a lot more than that. I can still remember the first time I heard one of their songs and I was drawn into his voice so much, not only was he an amazing singer but he has so much passion and I could feel that the words he was singing really had meaning to him. So, it wasn't much of a surprise for me to find out that he did indeed right his own lyrics.
I feel as though I have learned so much about Alex just through his lyrics, he really does right about experiences he goes through in his life that really help people get through their own experiences. I know I can say that for myself, every breakup, every fight, everything.
Basically Alex Gaskarth has inspired me with his music in so many ways. As he says in the quote above "Dreams don't always have to exists when the sun's down and your eyes are shut." He inspired me to chase after your dreams and realize that nothing is impossible.

Lullabies
One of All Time Low's best songs in my opinion would defiantly have to be the song Lullabies off of their album "Put Up or Shut Up." This song is about the lead singer Alex Gaskarth's brother killing himself and it is a very powerful song. I have listened to this song many times over to figure out just exactly what Alex is trying to say and I think it is a wide range of feelings. I think this song is a mixture of anger at his brother for leaving him like this and regret for not being able to help his brother or even get a chance to say goodbye.
I think that the following lyrics are the best way to show the sadness and remorse that the situation has cause Alex:
"Forever's never seemed so long as when you're not around it's like a piece of me is missing.I could have learned so much from you but what's left now? Don't you realize you showed this family a world of pain? Can't you see this could have been a happy ending we let go?"
He is saying that he isn't the same anymore since his brother passed away. But at the same time he is showing his anger at his brother asking him if he realized the hurt that he has caused his family.
One of the most important lyrics in this whole song is the chorus:
"Sing me to sleep, i'll see you in my dreams. Waiting to say, 'I miss you I'm so sorry.'"
This is one of the saddest lines in any All Time Low. Alex realizes the only chance he has to see his brother anymore is in his dreams. And this is the one place where he can say what he really wants to say, I miss you and I'm sorry. This also shows that he has put some of the blame on himself for this.
This is my favorite song for so many reasons, I think that there was so much emotion and love put into this song that was probably really hard for Alex as a writer/singer to do. I think it is a very beautiful song and you can defiantly feel his pain.
